Decided to write a little update of what's going on. Still auditioning vocalist candidates, if you got the potential, contact us. Anyhow, this starting week has been reserved completely for finishing the material for the first Damnation Plan album (and to have some beer ;). At the moment we have ready 7 and half songs, and a couple of almost ready ones. So, after this week, when we come out from the rehearsal room, we should have 11 completely new Damnation Plan songs written, which will eventually form the album. We also have a couple of movie related, more of instrumental songs played there which we might have somewhere there as bonus tracks, well, we'll see about that.

As before, we will record all the material in our little rehearsal "studio", in a way like we did the whole Darker World CD. This time though it will be the pre-production version of it all. The upcoming fall we should be heading to an actual studio to record, mix and master the whole bastard. Will try to capture some footage of the process and likely set up eventually a somewhat studio report blog out there for you (gear wankers). Let's see how it turns out! We are searching for a new vocalist. From now on Sami will concentrate on his duties with his other band Embreach. So, if you think you got what it takes, don't hesitate to send us e-mail about yourself and hopefully a sample of your voice to band(at)damnationplan.com.

We are searching for a shouter / screamer / growler / clean vocalist at the moment, so if you have one of these skills or some of them, or all of them, you just might be the guy. At the moment we are in the middle of writing a full length album worth of new songs for an album to be recorded during the next year 2009. Let us know if you are interested to be a part of it! After a half-dozen gigs with the Darker World material, it's once again time to gather together the new riffs and ideas in order to form the material for the next Damnation Plan release. We might still do a gig or two in between the writing of the new material during these next couple of months. We'll see how it turns out. Gig confirmed for next year with our fellow band Enthrope 25.03. at On The Rocks, Helsinki. Club Perkele show at Night Life Rock, Helsinki confirmed w/ Witheria.
